I still haven’t told you where did I go for my vacation. Any guesses ? No ? well let me throw in some more clues, it’s in the middle of a desert, lot of neon lights, Elvis, gambling, flashy people, lots of stretch limos Rings a bell ? No ? then you just gonna have to read more and find out.
May be these pictures might give you a clue.
I visited this place almost 6 years ago on a 4th of July weekend, how can I forget that. First thing I realized when I visited back then. I was never going to visit this place on 4th of July ever again. It was terribly hot (did I mention it’s in the middle of a desert ?) so hot that if I stayed in the sun for a while I could faint. This year I visited on August 30th weekend and it was terribly hot that I could faint. My first recommendation is, don’t visit this place till the end of October (why take chances ?). You have two things going for you at that time, since it’s not a tourist season (beginning of November) you will get better deals through out, from plane tickets to hotels, shows, gambling etc. You can do more things in less money and the weather will be a lot better.
Once we landed at the airport we rented a car and straight to our hotel. Later that evening
First stop Fremont experience. Fairly divided in our preference for what to do at this vacation spot. My life long friend (in other words called ‘wife’ ) wanted to go Fremont and I wanted to hit the casinos as you know they win mostly – so, I sure lost. It was good experience though except it was a very hot experience (did I mention high temperature before ?).
In the middle of the show we realized we were hungry and started looking for food. If you’re vegetarian your choices are limited and I mean very limited specially at 10:00 PM in the night, we settled for personal pizza for each. Time jumped 3 hours already for us, this country is so large (wide) that it spreads across in 3 time zone, time here is 3 hours ahead of that in my town - from where I started. So, we were sure feeling that time lag and returned to hotel to sleep.
Here are some pictures from Fremont experience. This is one of the largest TV screen on display that I have seen it covers almost 2 city blocks if not more. The whole mood beneath it is of party, drinking, dancing and just having a good time. That guy with camera 2nd picture from left - that’s me ! ..so I have been on one of the world’s largest TV screen….cool !
Are you able to guess where I am now ? if not keep reading as soon you will discover where I went for my vacation. Here is a bigger clue ‘sin city’ and did you see photos before ? they prove it. No ordinary city will have posters like those. This indeed is a city where people can come to commit sins and it’s all legal here.
Just for records, this city allows sins but you don’t have to commit one to be here. Besides allowing committing sins it’s probably world’s biggest party town.
Oh, well if the anxiety is killing you..it’s Vegas Baby ! Las Vegas ! Americas biggest party town. All the pictures they are named that way…..did you notice ?
Here you find both the richest, the who’s who of somewhere, VIPs and VVIPs and at the same time - the addicts and somebody that no one knows about and no one cares about. There is probably more alcohol served here than anywhere in the world. If you gamble at a table drinks are free – yes ! scotch, whiskey , rum, beer it’s all free and not just one or two drinks as many as you like. They are all free ! You can drink till you’re knocked out and it will still be fine. I think casino security will throw you out of the casino then, but that’s fine too as you won’t notice, not until you wake up. I don’t gamble and have little to worry about free drinks.
look at these cars there were more…you could rent these in Vegas…right from an hour long ride till you wallet gets empty.
Next day we left our hotel had breakfast and hit the road we booked shows earlier for both days ( you must do that to avoid any dis-appointment) but those show were in the evening and we were looking to do something during the day till the show time.
